Seafood Delivery Driver — Non-CDL

Company: AFS / Seafood Account Location: Jacksonville, FL Pay: $ 40,000 - 41,000 Annual Salary Job Type: Full-time Schedule: Monday–Friday, approximately 8:00 a.m.–6:00 p.m.

Job Summary

Seafood Sales & Service is seeking a dependable, safety-conscious Seafood Delivery Driver to deliver fresh and frozen seafood products to customers throughout the region. This is a non-CDL position , but it requires a clean driving record, strong attention to safety, and the ability to perform physically demanding work.

The ideal candidate is reliable, professional, comfortable interacting with customers, and willing to drive longer-distance routes—including trips to areas such as Orlando, Tallahassee, and other locations—as needed .

Responsibilities

• Safely operate a company delivery vehicle on local and long-distance routes.
• Load, unload, and deliver fresh and frozen seafood products.
• Regularly lift, carry, and move packages weighing up to approximately 50 pounds.
• Verify orders and ensure products are delivered accurately and on time.
• Obtain customer signatures and complete delivery paperwork as required.
• Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the delivery vehicle.
• Perform basic pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections.
• Follow DOT requirements, traffic laws, company safety procedures, and food-handling guidelines.
• Communicate professionally with customers, dispatchers, and other team members.
• Report delivery issues, vehicle concerns, or route delays promptly.

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license required.
• CDL is not required.
• Clean and acceptable driving record.
• Must be able to pass a DOT physical and maintain any required medical certification.
• Ability to regularly lift and carry up to approximately 50 pounds, with or without reasonable accommodation.
• Comfortable performing a labor-intensive job that includes frequent loading, unloading, lifting, bending, and carrying.
• Willing and able to drive longer-distance routes, including Orlando, Tallahassee, and surrounding areas, when needed.
• Dependable attendance and punctuality.
• Strong customer-service and communication skills.
• Previous delivery-driving, warehouse, food-distribution, or route-driving experience is preferred but not required.
• Language: Spanish and English

Schedule

• Monday through Friday
• Approximately 8:00 a.m.–6:00 p.m.
• Hours may vary depending on route length, traffic, delivery volume, and business needs.
