Job Details Job Details: We are looking for an ambitious and energetic Permanent Tax Manager to join our fast-paced Accounting and Finance team. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing all tax-related activities, including planning, compliance, and research. You will also work closely with clients, providing innovative tax planning, consulting, and compliance expertise. This position offers an excellent opportunity for leadership, learning, and career advancement for the right candidate. Responsibilities: 1. Manage and coordinate tax audits.
2. Prepare and review income tax returns to ensure accurate reporting and compliance with domestic and international tax law.
3. Develop and implement strategic tax planning for clients.
4. Review tax returns and quarterly/yearly tax projections.
5. Manage members of the tax team as they prepare components of the company's US federal income tax return and state tax returns.
6. Assist in the development and implementation of international tax planning strategies to minimize cash taxes and reduce effective tax rate.
7. Provide leadership and supervision to members of the tax department.
8. Collaborate with internal and external auditors to ensure successful audit results and compliance.
9. Interact with management and staff to provide tax planning, consulting, and compliance expertise. Qualifications: 1. Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field required.
2. Masters in Accounting or related field preferred.
3. Minimum of 5 years of public accounting experience.
4. Comprehensive understanding of GAAP.
5. Proven experience with audit and attestation support.
6. Strong leadership and personnel management skills.
7. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
8. Proven ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
9. Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
10. Excellent team player with a positive attitude.
11. Certified Public Accountant (CPA) certification is preferred.
