- Location: Jacksonville, TX 75766 (East Texas)
- Healthcare Setting: Emergency Room (ER)
- Employment Type: Travel Nursing / Locum Tenens Contract
- Contract Length: 13 weeks (Start: 10/6/2025 – End: 1/5/2026)
- Shift: Night shift, 3x12-hour shifts per week (19:00 – 07:00)
- Total Hours: 36 hours per week
- Estimated Weekly Pay: $1550-$1590
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license – Texas or compact state
- Minimum 2 years of recent emergency room nursing experience
- Prior travel nursing or locum tenens experience required
- Certifications: ACLS, BLS, PALS (American Heart Association preferred)
- Proficient with EPIC electronic health record (EHR) system
- Applicants must not reside in Henderson, Anderson, Cherokee, Rusk, Panola, Smith, Gregg, Van Zandt, Wood, Upshur, Camp, Hopkins, Franklin, Titus, or Morris counties
- Provide high-quality patient care in a fast-paced emergency room setting
- Perform triage, assessment, and management of adult and pediatric ER patients
- Administer emergency medications and manage IV vasopressors
- Care for ventilated patients and manage cardiac dysrhythmias
- Implement isolation precautions and perform central line care/management
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes
- Accurately document all care and interventions using EPIC EHR
