Machinist
Overview
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Machinist to join our dynamic team in Sanford, FL. As a Machinist, you will play a crucial role in our manufacturing process, utilizing precision machinery to create high-quality components. If you have a passion for machining and a keen eye for detail, we want to hear from you!
Responsibilities
- Set up and operate various types of machining equipment, including lathes, mills, and grinders.
- Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications to determine machining operations.
- Monitor and adjust machine settings to ensure optimal performance and product quality.
- Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting on machines to minimize downtime.
- Inspect finished products for accuracy and adherence to specifications using precision measuring tools.
- Collaborate with team members to improve processes and enhance productivity.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to safety protocols.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification in machining is a plus.
- Proven experience as a Machinist or in a similar role.
- Proficient in operating CNC and manual machining equipment.
- Strong understanding of machining processes and techniques.
- Ability to read and interpret technical documents and blueprints.
- Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
- Willingness to work flexible hours as needed.
