Porter/Housekeeping - Monument
Position Description
WHAT DO PORTERS DO?Janitors/ Housekeepers will do a bit of everything to keep businesses running cleanly and smoothly. They make sure that all areas of the buildings are neat, clean, free from clutter and safe. Janitors/ Housekeepers spend their days picking up trash, sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, or using industrial cleaning equipment to clean floors, cleaning and stocking bathrooms. In addition, Janitors/ Housekeepers might run errands, deliver items, move stock, or anything else that their supervisor might need. Full and Part time positions available.Requirements:• Must be energetic, outgoing, and be able to relate well to co-workers and patrons.
• Must be able to stand for prolong periods of time.
• May require some lifting (under 40 lbs.), standing and walking for prolonged periods of time.
• Exposure to noise, dust, dirt, and weather. Working outside in some cases.
• Must be able to obtain the appropriate state occupational license.Benefits: Cafeteria plan benefits after 6 months (health, dental, life, vision, AFLAC). 401K after 30 days.
