About the Role

Our Financial Aid Advisors' primary responsibility is to provide excellent customer service and financial aid support to accepted students. In this role, you will work by all accreditation and federal regulations. The ideal candidate will have a minimum knowledge of determining student needs, assisting students through the financial aid process, and is willing to adhere to all institutional policies and procedures.

Roles and Responsibilities

• Contact accepted students via telephone, email, or SMS
• Assist students/parents after the campus tour by answering questions about tuition and financial options
• Assist with completing FAFSA(s)
• Aid students/parents with the needed enrollment documents
• Ensure all financial aid applications are completed in a timely and accurate manner
• Detail oriented
• Be open and receptive to coaching
• Participate in department events and staff meetings

Recommended Requirements

• At least 2 years experience in customer service
• At least 1 year in Financial Aid
• 40+ enrollments per start

Requirement

• High School Diploma or GED

Physical Requirements

• Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
• Must be able to lift 15 pounds at times.
• Must be able to access and navigate each department at our facility physically.

Salary Range: $18 - $20 an Hour!
