Central Florida Therapy, a leading pediatric therapy clinic in Sanford, FL, is seeking a talented and passionate Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our team. As an SLP at our clinic, you will play a crucial role in helping children with communication disorders reach their full potential. Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive assessments to identify speech, language, and communication disorders in children
- Develop individualized treatment plans based on evaluation results
- Provide therapy sessions to address speech, language, and communication goals
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure integrated care
- Document client progress, maintain accurate records, and write reports as needed
- Educate and involve parents/caregivers in therapy goals and strategies
- Stay updated with the latest research and advancements in the field of speech-language pathology
Qualifications:
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Valid license to practice as an SLP in the state of Florida
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA). CFY will be considered.
- Experience working with pediatric populations (clinical internships included)
- Strong knowledge of assessment and treatment techniques for speech, language, and communication disorders in children
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team
