Senior Technical Lead, AI Platforms | Founding Engineer

Brand Me Now is building a revolutionary AI-powered platform to empower influencers in the supplement industry with 25 specialized AI agents. We're seeking a Senior Technical Lead to join as a foundational team member, leading 4-10 part-time developers and architecting our complex AI agent ecosystem.

Your Impact

As our Senior Technical Lead, you'll be the technical right-hand to the founder, translating ambitious vision into world-class product. You'll own the end-to-end architecture, make critical technical decisions, and drive execution of our product roadmap. This is a hands-on "player-coach" role where you'll write code, conduct architectural reviews, and ensure all 25 agents work in perfect unison.

What You'll Do

Technical Leadership (40%): Own our AI platform architecture, make critical tech stack decisions (Python/FastAPI, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, OpenAI, Airflow), conduct code reviews, and design event-driven systems and API contracts.

Vision Translation (30%): Collaborate with the founder to create detailed technical roadmaps, write specifications and user stories, and prioritize the engineering backlog for maximum business impact.

Team Management (30%): Lead 4-10 remote part-time developers, break down complex features into actionable tasks, run agile ceremonies, and resolve technical blockers.

What We're Looking For

Required: 8+ years in software engineering with 2+ years in technical leadership. Expert Python skills. Proven AI/ML experience with LLMs, agentic AI frameworks, and OpenAI SDK. Full-stack understanding (React, SQL/NoSQL, cloud). Track record of building complex, scalable systems. Experience managing and mentoring engineers. Startup mentality with bias for action. Excellent communication skills.

Bonus: Experience with NocoDB, Go High Level, Fal.ai, Apify, Airflow, WordPress. Remote team management experience. AI project portfolio or open-source contributions. Previous founding engineer experience.

Compensation

Competitive salary up to $150 / hour based on experience for part time fractional work.
