Superintendent- Public Projects

We are seeking an experienced Superintendent to oversee public construction projects across Broward and Palm Beach County. This is a hands-on leadership role managing day-to-day field operations, ensuring projects are delivered on time, on budget, and to the highest quality standards.

Description

• Lead and manage on-site construction activities from project start to completion.

• Supervise subcontractors, field staff, and trades to ensure work is performed safely, efficiently, and according to specifications.

• Maintain project schedules and coordinate resources to meet deadlines.

• Enforce site safety policies and conduct regular inspections to ensure compliance.

• Communicate effectively with project managers, owners, and inspectors to resolve issues quickly.

• Maintain accurate daily logs, progress reports, and documentation.

Profile

The ideal candidate will have at least 5+ years of experience as a Superintendent, specifically in public construction projects. They must be well-versed in local building codes and public sector compliance requirements. Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills are essential, along with the ability to manage multiple subcontractors and tight schedules. A track record of successfully delivering public projects in Broward and Palm Beach counties is highly preferred.
