Elevator Modernization Project Manager

Responsibilities
- Plan, coordinate, and oversee elevator modernization projects from inception to completion ensuring timely and within-budget delivery.
- Collaborate with R&D, engineering, installation, and service teams to develop and implement modernization solutions.
- Manage project schedules, resources, and budgets while maintaining clear communication with all stakeholders.
- Conduct site assessments and risk analyses to determine scope and feasibility of modernization efforts.
- Ensure all modernization projects comply with safety regulations, industry standards, and company quality guidelines.
- Lead contractor and vendor coordination to secure materials, parts, and services necessary for project success.
- Prepare and present project reports, updates, and documentation for internal teams and clients.
- Provide technical guidance and support during troubleshooting, testing, and commissioning phases.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
- Proven experience managing elevator modernization or related construction/engineering projects.
- Strong knowledge of elevator components, systems, and safety regulations including ASME and ADA compliance.
- Excellent project management skills including scheduling, budgeting, and resource allocation.
- Ability to coordinate multidisciplinary teams and work collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to effectively manage client relationships and teamwork.
- Proficiency with project management tools and software to track progress and documentation.
- Problem-solving aptitude with a focus on quality, efficiency, and innovation in elevator modernization.
