Clinical and Administrative Medical Director for our hospitalist group

Jupiter Medical Center, a premier independent health system serving Palm Beach County and the Treasure Coast of Florida is seeking an experienced Hospitalist Medical Director to lead our growing inpatient medicine program.

Position Highlights

• Monday-Friday leadership schedule

• Dedicated time for clinical and administrative responsibilities

• Hospital-employed position, not a third party contractor

• Lead an established team of hospitalists, nocturnists, and advanced practice providers

• Collaborate closely with hospital leadership, nursing, case management, quality, and physician colleagues

• Drive initiatives focused on quality, patient experience, throughput, and operational excellence

• EPIC electronic medical record

Leadership Responsibilities

• Provide strategic and operational leadership for the Hospital Medicine program

• Recruit, mentor, and retain high-performing physicians and advanced providers

• Develop and monitor quality, safety, and patient satisfaction initiatives

• Partner with hospital administration to improve efficiency, length of stay, and care coordination

• Foster a culture of clinical excellence, accountability, and teamwork

• Participate in physician engagement and service line growth initiatives

Candidate Qualifications

• Board Certified in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine

• Minimum of 5 years of hospitalist experience preferred

• Prior leadership experience as Medical Director, Associate Medical Director, Chief Hospitalist, or similar role needed

• Strong communication and team-building skills

• Eligible for Florida medical licensure
