Job Title: Project Manager
Position Type: Full-Time, Direct Hire
Location: Rockledge, FL
Summary:
LEAD Technical is currently looking for a Project Manager for our client in the Rockledge area. In this role, you will be responsible for driving the plant’s strategic direction through engineered solutions and effective project execution. This is a DIRECT HIRE role that is available immediately.
Responsibilities:
- Lead plant projects with a focus on equipment reliability, maintainability, safety, and uptime
- Manage projects end-to-end: scope, planning, scheduling, cost tracking, execution, and closeout
- Partner closely with Maintenance, Engineering, and Production to ensure projects support long-term asset performance
- Specify and evaluate equipment, materials, and contractors with lifecycle cost and maintainability in mind
- Develop capital requests, budgets, schedules, and leadership presentations
- Oversee contractors and vendors to ensure safe, compliant, and high-quality execution
- Ensure smooth project handoff to Maintenance, including documentation, training, and spare parts alignment
- Support safety, environmental, and quality standards throughout all project phases
- Identify and mitigate technical, schedule, and reliability risks
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or equivalent project experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment
- Experience leading equipment-focused projects in coordination with Maintenance teams
- Strong understanding of industrial equipment, installations, and plant operations
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects and priorities
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
- Proficiency with CAD and Microsoft Office tools
- Maintenance or Reliability Engineering background
- Experience with asset lifecycle management, equipment upgrades, or reliability improvements
- Vendor and contractor management experience in an industrial setting
- Familiarity with safety, environmental, and quality standards
