Here's what you'd do:

• We are seeking a highly skilled Solder assembler to join our team.
• The ideal candidate will specialize in advanced rework on circuit card assemblies.
• Perform advanced rework on circuit card assemblies.
• BGA (Ball Grid Array) reballing and replacement.
• QFN (Quad Flat No-Lead) and other leadless package rework.
• High-density connector rework and repair.
• Complex SMT (Surface Mount Technology) component replacement.
• Through-hole and surface mount technology (SMT) components.
• Fine pitch and high-density components.
• Utilize various soldering techniques, including hand soldering and reflow soldering.
• Uses a microscope to verify correct part placement and orientation.
• Inspect and troubleshoot assemblies to identify defects and areas for improvement.
• Develop and implement rework procedures for new and existing products.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to resolve design and manufacturing issues.
• Perform mechanical assembly operations.
• Installing stand-offs, spacers, and other hardware.
• Assembling and aligning complex mechanical components.
• Using adhesives, epoxies, and other bonding agents.
• Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to safety and quality standards.
• Assemble and solder electronic components.
• Perform soldering tasks to connect components securely.

Here's what you'll get:

Pay: $24.00 - $29.00/hr.

Hours: 4/10-2 nd Shift.

Length: Temp (12 Months).

Job Requirements

Required Skills / Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Minimum of 6 years of experience in IPC-A-610, and IPC-J-STD.
• Minimum of 4 years of experience in X-ray analysis
• Minimum of 5 years of soldering and rework experience, focusing on advanced techniques.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in electronics assembly and repair principles.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience with soldering equipment.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in soldering irons and stations.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience with Reflow ovens and soldering machines.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience with inspection and testing equipment, such as microscopes and X-ray machines.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience with automated optical inspection (AOI) and x-ray inspection (AXI) systems.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience with Through-hole and surface mount technology (SMT) components.

Preferred Skills / Qualifications:

• IPC (Institute for Printed Circuits) certification in soldering and rework (IPC-A-610, IPC-7711/7721).
• Knowledge of mechanical assembly related to circuit cards.
• Good background in soldering and rework techniques, with the ability to work on complex electronics assemblies.
• A keen eye for detail, excellent hand-eye coordination, and a passion for precision electronics work.
• Excellent hand-eye coordination, fine motor skills.
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, meeting production deadlines and quality standards.
• Good communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
• Able to read/write English.
• Basic Computer Skills.
• Blueprint Reading.
