Hematology-Oncology Unit (7 South) is a 28-bed pediatric unit caring for patients of all ages and acuity levels. Nurse-to-patient ratios are typically 1:3–4 for hematology-oncology and 1:2 for blood and marrow transplant patients, supporting high-quality, specialized care.

As part of the Cancer & Blood Disorders Institute, our team delivers advanced, innovative treatments for children, teens, and young adults with both common and rare cancers and blood disorders, including leukemia and sickle cell disease. We are proud to be the first children’s hospital in Florida certified to offer CAR-T therapy, reflecting our commitment to cutting-edge care and improved patient outcomes.

Who Should Apply:

• BSN from an accredited School of Nursing

• Registered Nurse (RN) Required. Florida State or Compact License required

• A minimum of threes year of experience as a licensed Registered Nurse working in an acute care setting

• BLS certification provided by AHA

Salary Range: Minimum 40.95/hour - Maximum 63.46/hour. Compensation will be commensurate with equity and experience for roles of similar scope and responsibility. In cases where the range is displayed as a $0 amount, salary discussions will occur during candidate screening calls, before any subsequent compensation discussion is held between the candidate and any hiring authority.
