Superintendent- Commercial Renovations

The Opportunity We are representing a premier, award-winning General Contractor known for delivering some of the most iconic high-end commercial spaces across the country. This is a strictly confidential search for a seasoned Superintendent who specializes in the "white-glove" delivery of complex interior build-outs and renovations.

This role is designed for a field leader who excels in high-pressure, high-standard environments where craftsmanship and schedule adherence are non-negotiable.

Core Responsibilities

• Field Leadership: Direct all daily on-site operations for high-profile interior projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to exacting standards.

• Specialized Supervision: Lead the construction of intricate restaurant (front and back of house), luxury retail, and high-end commercial spaces.

• Subcontractor Coordination: Manage all trades with a focus on precision, ensuring subcontractors meet the firm's rigorous quality and safety benchmarks.

• Renovation Strategy: Expertly navigate the challenges of occupied spaces, night shifts, and the logistical hurdles unique to mall-based or urban renovation projects.

• Schedule & Safety: Maintain a proactive master schedule and enforce a zero-tolerance safety culture (OSHA compliance).

• Stakeholder Liaison: Act as the primary on-site point of contact for clients, architects, and inspectors, maintaining the firm's reputation for professional excellence.

Required Experience & Skills

• Proven Track Record: Minimum of 5–10 years of experience as a Lead Superintendent specifically within the commercial interior/renovation sector.

• Niche Expertise: Extensive experience in Restaurant (Fine Dining/QSR), Luxury Retail, and Class-A Office build-outs is required.

• Technical Savvy: Ability to interpret complex architectural, MEP, and interior design drawings flawlessly.

• Problem Solver: Must demonstrate the ability to identify and resolve site conflicts or existing condition issues before they impact the critical path.

• Communication: Highly organized with strong digital reporting skills (Procore or similar construction management software).

• Certification: Current OSHA 30-hour certification is mandatory.
