Busser

DeRomo's Gourmet Market & Restaurant  is a popular, busy, authentic Italian marketplace in  Bonita Springs . We are currently seeking seasonal Bussers   to join our Market Team. Bussers are responsible for providing a clean and pleasant dining experience by clearing, sanitizing, and resetting tables, and ensuring the dining room is well-stocked and tidy. The busser, in the absence of a bar back will support the bar staff to ensure the bar is stocked with ice, bus tubs are emptied, dining spaces are cleared and clean.

Part-Time (shift 10AM - 3PM) or (shift 4PM - 10PM)

Hours of operation are Sunday - Saturday

Essential Functions:

• Clear tables of dishware and napkins after meals, and return them to the kitchen
• Prepare coffee, tea, and ice water for customers
• Keep floors and chairs near dining tables clean by sweeping and mopping
• Maintain appropriate stock levels of glassware, silverware, and dishware
• Clean, sanitize, and reset tables after meals
• Refill salt, pepper, and other condiments at tables
• Assist with food delivery in the absence of the food runner
• Assist with bar bussing in the absence of a bar back
• Assist with steps of service as requested by servers (bread, silverware, special guest request)
• Keep designated service stations clean and well stocked

Qualifications, Education, Experience, Skills, and Abilities:

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED) preferred
• Restaurant experience preferred
• Demonstrate ability to work well in a team environment
• Ability to obtain and maintain a food handler certification card
• Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills
• Ability to lift and move up to 50 pounds
