What You’ll Do

As an Account Executive, you’ll be responsible for developing new business, building customer relationships, and growing a profitable book of business.

This is a high-activity, high-reward sales role for someone who understands the fundamentals of prospecting, relationship development, negotiation, and closing.

You’ll have the opportunity to apply your existing sales experience while leveraging CURA’s technology, operational support, and leadership team to build something of your own.

Responsibilities

  • Prospect and develop new customer relationships through outbound sales activity
  • Build and grow a book of business through consistent pipeline development
  • Identify customer needs and develop freight solutions that create value
  • Quote, negotiate, and close new business
  • Build and maintain long-term relationships with shippers and decision-makers
  • Manage customer opportunities from initial conversation through ongoing account development
  • Partner with operations and carrier teams to ensure successful shipment execution
  • Communicate proactively with customers and provide solutions when challenges arise
  • Identify opportunities to expand existing accounts and increase revenue
  • Maintain accurate pipeline and customer activity within CRM systems
  • Collaborate with leadership and operations to support customer retention and growth
  • Consistently execute against activity, pipeline, and revenue goals

What We’re Looking For

Experience

We’re looking for sales professionals who understand how to build relationships, create opportunities, and close business.

Experience in any of the following is a strong plus:

  • Freight brokerage or 3PL
  • Logistics or transportation sales
  • B2B sales
  • High-volume outbound sales
  • Account management and business development
  • Commission-based or performance-driven sales

Prior freight brokerage experience is especially valuable for candidates who have previously built a book of business, developed shipper relationships, and understand the pace and competitiveness of the industry.

We’re also open to experienced sales professionals from outside of freight who have a proven track record of prospecting, closing, and building lasting customer relationships.
