AI/Machine Learning Engineer (Remote - US)

Accountabilities:

• Lead the development and deployment of scalable AI/ML solutions across federal programs with high societal impact.
• Build NLP and transformer-based models using libraries like TensorFlow, PyTorch, and Hugging Face.
• Implement the full ML pipeline from data preparation to training, serving, and real-time performance monitoring.
• Develop question-answering systems and enhance AI workflows using Retrieval-Augmented Generation and Knowledge Graphs.
• Apply MLOps practices including Infrastructure as Code (IaC), CI/CD pipelines for ML, and model versioning.
• Ensure systems meet reliability, scalability, and compliance standards for federal use cases.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to translate complex challenges into actionable ML solutions.
• Contribute to innovation while maintaining alignment with federal AI governance standards.

• 4+ years of experience in software and machine learning engineering.
• Proficiency in Python and experience with modern ML/NLP frameworks such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, and Hugging Face Transformers.
• Deep understanding of NLP, transformer architectures, and AI pipeline design.
• Strong knowledge of MLOps tools and best practices for robust AI deployment in production.
• Familiarity with Retrieval-Augmented Generation, Agentic Graphs, and Knowledge Graph strategies.
• Experience with cloud-based ML architectures and building secure, scalable AI systems.
• Knowledge of federal compliance frameworks like NIST AI RMF and FedRAMP is a plus.
• Must be a U.S. Citizen and able to obtain a low-level federal security clearance.
• Bachelor’s degree required in Computer Science, Data Science, or a related field.
