Credit Administration Specialist
: Description:
The Credit Administration team is looking to fill a new role within the department. The Credit Administration Specialist 's main responsibility will be to assist the Credit Administrator with product administration of the commercial loan originating software (JHA LoanVantage). Additional responsibilities and duties will vary but include assistance to the credit team with the following: gathering documents in support of bank exams, manage Sharepoint and Teams documentation, assist lenders with questions regarding software, etc.
The ideal candidate has a high degree of technical software skills with strong attention to detail, prioritization skills and the ability to work independently and complete projects. This position is eligible for hybrid work environment but will be discussed with applicant.
Requirements:Key responsibilities:
- Management of both user side and admin side of current Commercial Loan Originating Software.
- To include assisting lenders with questions on new loan input, tickler creation and updating, troubleshooting both user error and software error.
- Supporting Credit Administrator in managing the admin side and all functionality of the Commercial Loan Originating software.
- Reviewing all information regarding software upgrades and enhancements
- Assist in the management and accuracy of data in the system.
- Assist in the management of data reporting functionality and tracking functionality:
- Covenants
- Policy Exceptions
- Pipeline Reports
- Assist in ongoing training to include changes and enhancements of Commercial Loan Originating Software
- Assist with the buildout of future expansion of the loan originating software i.e. Consumer Loan Origination (To include implementation, staff training and ongoing management)
- Assist in the creation or update of Credit Admin processes and procedures as needed.
- Assist in the management and expansion of the department's Team channel and Sharepoint site.
- Assist in the preparation for Safety and Soundness exams.
- Assist in other Credit Administration functions as needed in support of the Credit Analysts and Lenders.
Minimum Skill Requirements and Background:

- Strong attention to detail, prioritization skills and completion of projects
- Proven critical thinking and problem-solving skills
- High degree of technical software skills
- Desire and willingness to teach and train, the ability to put together a concise presentation both in person and utilizing the Teams environment.
Education and Experience:
- High School diploma or equivalent required
- Some college preferred
- 3 to 5 years prior banking experience, preference in loan experience
- Efficient use and understanding of all Microsoft Office products
- Strong understanding of the bank's current loan processes and policy
- Knowledge and understanding of banking regulations and compliance rules
- The willingness and technical ability to grow and adapt with the bank's changing technology.
