Registered Nurse – Neuro ICU

 Overview:

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Neuro ICU Registered Nurse (RN)to join our critical care team. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality, patient-centered care to individuals requiring specialized neurological monitoring and treatment. Responsibilities:

• Deliver high-quality, evidence-based nursing care to patients with acute and complex neurological conditions
• Perform procedures, monitoring, and interventions as ordered by medical providers
• Accurately document all care and treatments in the medical record in a timely and thorough manner
• Educate patients and families on diagnoses, treatments, medications, and ongoing self-care strategies
• Promote patient and family engagement through clear communication and support
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to coordinate and individualize patient care plans
• Participate in continuous process improvement and quality initiatives to advance clinical outcomes

Qualifications:

• Experience: Minimum of 1 year of acute care RN experience within the last 3 years (higher-acuity experience strongly preferred; strong Med-Surg RNs will be considered)
• Education: Associate Degree required; BSN preferred
• Licensure:
• Active Florida RN license or Compact State RN license (compact license holders must obtain FL license within 60 days of relocation)
• Certifications:
• Basic Life Support (BLS, AHA)– required within 30 days of hire
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS)– required within 90 days of hire

• Shifts Available:
• Days (Rotating Weekends)
• Nights (Rotating Weekends)
• Unit Size: 10 beds
• Environment: Supportive and collaborative Neuro ICU team committed to professional growth and evidence-based care

Compensation & Benefits:

• Salary Range: $30.60 – $45.90 per hour (based on experience)
• Midpoint: $38.25 (approx. 8 years’ experience)
• Shift Differentials:
• Nights: +$4.25/hr
• Weekends: +$3.00/hr
• Sign-On Bonus: $10,000 (Days) / $15,000 (Nights)
• Relocation Assistance: Case-by-case basis
