Food Attendant - Back of House
Great meals start with a great kitchen team!
The Back of House position plays an essential role in supporting kitchen operations and delivering high-quality food service. This position is responsible for assisting with food preparation, maintaining cleanliness and organization within the kitchen, and ensurign all work areas meet safety and sanitation standards. The Back of House Food Attendant works closely with the kitchen and Front of House team members to promote efficiency, consistency, and a smooth flow of service.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Handle and prepare food in accordance with all food safety, sanitation, and hygiene guidelines.
- Manage assigned workstation, including stocking supplies, prepping ingredients, cooking as required, and cleaning throughout shifts.
- Track and fulfill orders and special requests accurately and efficiently from assigned station.
- Communicate and coordinate with Front of House team members to support timely order preparation and delivery.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe kitchen environment at all times.
- Ensure food quality, portioning, and presentation consistently meet established standards.
- Comply with all health regulations, food safety protocols, and workplace safety procedures.
- Assist with general kitchen duties as needed to support smooth daily operations.

- Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
- Strong attention to detail with a commitment to cleanliness and organization.
- Effective communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
- Ability to follow instructions accurately and manage time efficiently.

Physical Requirements
- Ability to perform effectively in a fast-paced work environment.
- Ability to stand for long periods of time.
- Ability to lift and carry moderate weights as needed.
