Manager, Inside Sales
Job Summary
The Manager, Inside Sales will have experience in managing inside sales operations, driving revenue growth, and fostering a high-performance sales culture. The role will be responsible for overseeing day-to-day inside sales activities, coaching a team to meet sales targets, and developing strategies to enhance productivity, customer engagement, and lead conversion.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
- Lead, mentor, and motivate a team of inside sales representatives.
- Provide coaching, performance feedback, and support to ensure team members meet and exceed individual and team sales goals.
- Conduct regular one-on-one meetings, sales reviews, and performance evaluations.
- Recruit and onboard new sales team members as needed.
- Collaborate with senior leadership to develop and implement sales strategies that align with company goals.
- Establish sales targets and KPIs for the team, track performance, and adjust tactics to ensure success.
- Ensure the team effectively uses CRM tools to manage leads, sales pipeline, and customer interactions.
- Drive the adoption of new sales techniques and technologies to enhance the team’s productivity and results.
- Build and nurture relationships with key accounts and strategic clients.
- Work with the sales team to ensure a consultative, solution-oriented sales approach that delivers value to customers.
- Oversee the resolution of any customer issues or concerns escalated by the sales team.
- Work closely with marketing to align on lead generation, campaigns, and messaging.
- Collaborate with customer success, operations, and product teams to ensure seamless customer experience and product delivery.
- Provide feedback on customer trends and market conditions to inform product development and marketing strategies.
- Analyze sales performance data and provide insights to improve individual and team productivity.
- Create and present regular sales reports, forecasting, and performance reviews to senior management.
- Continuously track market trends and competitive activity to identify new business opportunities.
