San Jose Country Club in Jacksonville, FL is looking for a talented and passionate Banquet Line Cook to join our culinary team! Responsibilities:

• Prepare and execute high-quality banquet meals for events of varying sizes and styles
• Set up and break down banquet line stations efficiently before and after service
• Follow standardized recipes and plating guidelines to ensure consistency and presentation
• Coordinate with banquet and kitchen staff to ensure timely food production and service
• Maintain proper food storage, labeling, and rotation following FIFO standards
• Uphold strict food safety and sanitation standards in compliance with health regulations
• Assist with prep work including chopping, portioning, and mise en place for upcoming events

Requirements:

• 1+ years of line cook or banquet cooking experience in a hotel, club, or restaurant setting
• Solid knowledge of cooking techniques, knife skills, and kitchen equipment
• Ability to work efficiently in a high-volume, fast-paced banquet kitchen environment
• Strong understanding of food safety, sanitation, and proper food handling procedures
• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs as needed
• Flexible availability including evenings, weekends, and holidays
• Team-oriented attitude with strong communication and time management skills
