JOB TITLE: RF Test Technician

LOCATION: Clearwater, FL

PAY RATE: Up to $30/hour

We are a national aerospace and defense staffing agency seeking highly qualified candidates for a position with a top-tier client.

Job Details:

• Job Type: Contract (12 months with potential for extension)

• Shift: Monday Thursday, 3:30 PM 2:00 AM (OT available on weekends)

Summary:

• Set up and conduct tests on electronic circuit card assemblies, RF circuits, and subassemblies following established methods, procedures, and specifications

• Lay out and assemble production electronic equipment; adjust and calibrate systems as needed

• Troubleshoot analog, digital, and RF circuits to the component level using schematic diagrams

• Replace or adjust parts to correct malfunctions

• Perform testing using tools such as digital multimeters, oscilloscopes, network analyzers, signal generators, and RF power meters

• Determine appropriate test types, analyze results, and recommend product or process improvements

• Document maintenance actions accurately using Microsoft Suite and other data collection tools

• Use hand tools, test equipment, and power tools to support assembly and testing

• Collaborate with engineers to develop and refine test procedures for new products

• Verify product quality using statistical process control or other quality assurance procedures

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent, with technical training equivalent to an Associate degree

• 1+ year of hands-on experience testing electronic assemblies

• Proficient in troubleshooting solid-state, digital, and RF circuitry

• Experience with flying probe and high-power testing

• Strong knowledge of solid-state devices and micro-circuitry

• Familiarity with radar systems

• Extensive experience in RF testing (1 2 years)

• Ability to work in a fast-paced production environment

• Must be a U.S. Citizen (as defined by ITAR).
