Starting Pay:

• Verify patient insurance coverage and benefits

• Obtain and manage prior authorizations

• Perform financial screenings and eligibility reviews

• Educate patients on coverage and financial responsibilities

• Collaborate with clinical and administrative teams

• Ensure accurate and timely documentation

It also requires excellent verbal, analytical and customer service skills due to the varying methods of continuous communication that occurs telephonically. Requires extensive computer knowledge and analytical experience to navigate and interpret the information provided by a multitude of entities. Requires prioritization, detail orientation, organized, flexible while working within high volume work queues. This job requires the ability to understand medical terminology pertinent to obtaining the authorizations needed for services.
