Electrical & Instrumentation (E&I) Journeyman Level Technician

Location: Pensacola, FL area

We are seeking a Journeyman-level Electrical & Instrumentation (E&I) Technician with a minimum of 5 years of industrial or manufacturing experience . This role is responsible for the installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of electrical and instrumentation systems to ensure safe and efficient plant operations .

Key Responsibilities:

• Install, maintain, and repair industrial electrical and instrumentation systems , including motors , transformers , PLCs , and control panels
• Diagnose and troubleshoot issues with PLCs , AC/DC variable speed drives , motor control centers (MCCs) , switchgear , and power distribution systems
• Interpret and update electrical schematics , loop diagrams , blueprints , and technical manuals
• Perform preventive and predictive maintenance
• Collaborate with engineers , maintenance , and operations teams
• Ensure compliance with OSHA , National Electric Code (NEC) , and company safety policies
• Document all work performed accurately and completely

Requirements:

• Journeyman-level experience in Electrical & Instrumentation (E&I) (Certification not required)
• 5+ years of experience in a manufacturing or industrial setting
• Strong understanding of industrial electrical systems
• Proficient in working with PLCs , VFDs , MCCs , and switchgear
• Experience in preventive/predictive maintenance programs
• Ability to work independently or in a team environment
• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Technical E&I training preferred

Schedule:

• MondayFriday: 6:30 AM3:00 PM
• Occasional overtime required for special projects
• Participation in rotating on-call list

• Background check and verification of prior work history required upon job offer
