Position Overview

As a VIR Tech, you'll specialize in performing complex vascular angiographic imaging procedures, working alongside top medical professionals in a state-of-the-art angiography suite. This role encompasses both neurological and cardiovascular interventional procedures, serving adult through geriatric patients.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform advanced vascular and interventional radiological procedures
• Execute specialized imaging in neurological, thoracic, and abdominal procedures
• Conduct genitourinary and gastrointestinal nonvascular imaging
• Manage peripheral and venous access procedures
• Ensure radiation safety protocols and maintain proper documentation
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams
• Provide exceptional patient care and support

Requirements

• Florida State Registered Radiologic Technologist license
• ARRT (R) registration required
• Cardiovascular registration preferred
• Graduate of an accredited School of Radiology
• BCLS certification within 30 days of hire
• ACLS certification within 6 months of hire
• 1+ year VIR experience preferred (consideration given for strong imaging background)
