Accounts Payable Coordinator (ASAP $21 hr)

Location: Tampa, 33607 – This position is onsite
Pay: $21.00 per hour
Type: Contract, leave coverage. May have opportunities for long term.
Schedule: M-F, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM EST
Job description:
- Manage all Accounts Payable functions with accuracy and timeliness, including PO creation, invoice processing, check distribution, and adherence to company policies and internal controls.
- Support month-end close by meeting deadlines, ensuring AP balances are accurate, and reconciling insurance and patient refunds to the patient accounting system.
- Record and maintain fixed assets and prepaid expenses accurately in accordance with accounting standards.
- Process insurance and patient refunds, including importing refunds into the AP system and ensuring proper posting and reconciliation.
- Support internal and external stakeholders by providing requested information and participating in special projects or tasks as assigned.

Requirements:
- Must have recent experience in Accounts Payable or Patient & Insurance Refund
- Must have strong MS Excel skills
- Must have strong verbal and written communication skills
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Background check required
- Drug screening required
