We are seeking Costume Characters at LEGOLAND® Florida in Winter Haven, Florida for the Daily Park Opening Moment, Character Meet & Greets, Hotel Events . This role may perform in both the theme park and hotel locations. We are looking for high-energy performers to bring these Costume Characters to life!

Costumed Character Performers must be willing to perform as a costumed character in a full body costume like a mascot as well as serve as a character sidekick when needed. Responsibilities of a character sidekick include assisting during character meet-and-greets, being the voice for the character, and engaging with guests to create a welcoming and interactive experience. Performers will be working in various indoor and outdoor climates and must be comfortable wearing a full character costume for up to 30 minutes at a time. This role requires individuals who are comfortable performing in enclosed character costumes.

In the hotel setting, performers will support family-focused programming such as character meet-and-greets, hosting games for families, leading dance parties, and reading from a book during scheduled Storytime experiences. Performers should be comfortable speaking with guests, facilitating activities, and maintaining high energy while interacting with children and families.

Pay: $15.50 per hour
Hours: This is a Part Time job with pproximately 6-8 hours per shift between 9:00am and 9:00pm
Workweek: typically 2-3 days a week. Must have at least 2 days of availability a week with at least 1 day being a weekend day

What is required?

• Must be between 5'1" and 5'5"
• This is full body costume like a mascot with head fully covered
• Must be local to Winter Haven, Florida or surrounding area
• Must have reliable transportation
• Must have weekend availability
• Must be authorized to work lawfully in the United States
