About the Role
The Associate Dean – Academic Program Quality & Faculty is a key member of the College’s leadership team within the Barry and Judy Silverman College of Pharmacy . In this highly visible role, you will partner closely with the Dean to enhance program quality, strengthen accreditation efforts, and drive student success. This position blends strategic leadership, academic innovation, and faculty engagement , with responsibilities spanning assessment, accreditation, and retention initiatives.
What You’ll Do
- Lead accreditation, assessment, and program evaluation initiatives (ACPE, SACS, ARC)
- Drive continuous improvement of curriculum, academic outcomes, and program structures
- Oversee academic support services to enhance student retention and success
- Analyze key data (AACP surveys, NAPLEX, MPJE) to inform strategic decisions
- Develop and implement initiatives to increase student engagement and graduation rates
- Partner with faculty and leadership to advance assessment practices and innovation
- Supervise faculty and staff, fostering a culture of accountability and excellence
- Lead accreditation reporting, self-studies, and compliance efforts
- Support enrollment growth and innovative program delivery models
- Contribute to teaching, service, and university-wide initiatives
What You Bring
Required Qualifications:
- Doctoral or terminal degree ( Pharm.D. required )
- Minimum 10 years of pharmacy faculty experience , including 5+ years in an administrative leadership role
- Experience with assessment, accreditation, and program evaluation in higher education
