Maintenance Mechanic for Manufacturing
Overview
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Maintenance Mechanic to join our dynamic team at our manufacturing facility located in Tampa, FL, 33610. In this role, you will play a crucial part in ensuring the smooth operation of our machinery and equipment. Responsibilities
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on manufacturing equipment and machinery.
- Troubleshoot mechanical issues and implement effective solutions.
- Conduct inspections to identify potential equipment failures or safety hazards.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and repairs.
- Collaborate with production teams to minimize downtime and improve efficiency.
- Assist in the installation and setup of new machinery and equipment.
- Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work environment.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical degree or certification in a related field is a plus.
- Proven experience as a maintenance mechanic in a manufacturing setting.
- Strong mechanical and troubleshooting skills.
- Familiarity with hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical systems.
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics.
- Excellent communication skills and a team-oriented attitude.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including overtime as needed.
