Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced Senior .NET Developer for a 12-month contract opportunity in Tallahassee, FL. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in full-stack .NET development, strong database expertise, and hands-on experience working in Agile/Scrum environments. This role requires a highly skilled developer with a strong focus on code quality, security, and web accessibility standards.

Required Qualifications & Experience
• Minimum 8 years of experience developing applications using C# .NET
• Minimum 5 years of experience with ASP.NET MVC
• Minimum 8 years of experience with Visual Studio
• Minimum 8 years of experience with JavaScript / jQuery
• Experience with Azure DevOps
• Minimum 8 years of experience with SQL Server development (tables, stored procedures, functions, triggers, views)
• Minimum 8 years of experience writing, reading, and interpreting technical specifications, test cases, and requirements
• Minimum 8 years of experience with IT security standards, application hardening, and data encryption
• Minimum 5 years of experience with web accessibility standards (ADA / WCAG)
• Minimum 8 years of experience with integrations using JSON and XML
• Minimum 8 years of experience working with IIS environments
• Minimum 5 years of experience with SSRS
• Minimum 5 years of experience with Object-Oriented Analysis & Design (OOAD) best practices
• Minimum 5 years of experience developing web-based applications
• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field (or equivalent experience)

Key Responsibilities
• Participate in all Scrum ceremonies including:
o Sprint Planning
o Daily Stand-Ups
o Sprint Reviews
o Backlog Grooming
o Story Pointing
o Retrospectives
• Develop, modify, and test application and database code for assigned user stories within a three-week sprint cycle
• Deliver high-quality code with a zero-defect expectation
• Document application updates and maintain code documentation in repository
• Ensure strict compliance with Department Data Security & Confidentiality policies
• Follow IT security standards including encryption and application hardening practices
