Our work depends on Security Controls Assessor Analyst joining our team to collaborate with the client organization to support program assessment and authorization activities.

HOW A SECURITY CONTROLS ASSESSOR/ANALYST WILL MAKE AN IMPACT:

• Oversee the T&E assessments of an information systems and networks to ensure security protection measures for the information system are in-place, and compliant.

• Serve as the point of contact for stakeholders and utilize a management software tool to assist in tracking and monitoring the progress of assessment packages.

• Support program assessment and authorization activities and conducts regular assessments on and off-site and reviews accreditation documentation to identify risk and mitigation strategies.

• Guide completion and submission of all enclave Authority to Operate (ATO) package artifacts enabling timely Test and Evaluation (T&E) validations and AO approval during continuous, network service.

• Ensures security controls are implemented correctly, operating as intended, and are producing the desired outcome

• This position requires interaction with DoD community customers and industry providers

• Maintains current knowledge of industry standard Information Assurance best practices

WHAT YOU’LL NEED TO SUCCEED:

• EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE: Technical Training, Certification(s) or Degree, 5+ years of experience

• Required Experience: 5+ years of related Security Controls Assessor and Information Assurance experience

• Required Technical Skills: Assessment and Authorization (A&A) and CIS controls experience

• Required Certification: 8570 certification: IAM Level II Certification (CASP+ CE or CISSP )

• Security Clearance Level: TS/SCI clearance required.

• Preferred cert: CISSP cert

• Location: On Customer Site, MacDill AFB, FL in Tampa, FL (Not remote)
