Senior Marketing Specialist

We’re looking for a Senior Marketing Specialist to join our expanding global marketing team and reporting directly to the Global Creative & Brand Strategy Director. This role is ideal for a seasoned marketing professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment, owns initiatives from concept to execution, and drives measurable impact across digital and traditional channels.
The Senior Marketing Specialist will play a pivotal role in shaping and executing strategic marketing initiatives that enhance brand visibility, support business development, and drive engagement. This person will be entrusted with guiding creative ideas, developing content strategies, and owning projects end-to-end—from concept through implementation and analysis. The ideal candidate is both a thinker and a doer, able to manage multiple priorities while bringing a high level of creativity, curiosity, and marketing expertise to the table.
Job Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end marketing initiatives across digital and traditional platforms—including email, social media, web, microsites, SEO, PPC, video, events, and print.
- Translate abstract ideas and business goals into actionable marketing strategies, content, and deliverables.
- Conduct buyer journey research to help optimize website UX, marketing touchpoints, and sales alignment.
- Create and execute lead nurturing strategies using content, targeted CTAs, and multi-channel campaigns.
- Build and manage email lists, campaigns, templates, content, and calls-to-action; continually optimize for engagement and performance.
- Review and refine existing marketing campaigns across departments; implement automation where appropriate to increase efficiency and scale.
- Devise strategies to drive high-quality traffic to the company website and improve online conversions.
- Manage the company’s social media presence across platforms including Facebook, LinkedIn, Instagram, X (formerly Twitter), YouTube, Google, and Vimeo—ensuring messaging aligns with brand strategy and current campaigns.
- Support additional creative needs such as pitch presentations, signage, and trade show collateral.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with designers, writers, sales, senior leadership, and third-party vendors to develop and deploy content and campaigns.
- Lead persona and scenario development; design user research studies that explore behaviors and attitudes to generate actionable insights.
- Stay current on marketing trends, technologies, and platform changes to keep Benchmark ahead of the curve.
- Ensure high standards of visual design and brand consistency across all marketing outputs.
- Utilize Salesforce, HubSpot, Pardot, and other marketing tech to execute, track, and improve campaign performance.
- Analyze marketing performance data and present strategic insights and recommendations to key stakeholders.
- Maintain tight project timelines, prioritize competing requests, and drive initiatives from strategy through execution.
Job Requirements
We’re looking for a driven, passionate marketing professional who brings both energy and expertise to the table. A strong desire to grow, contribute, and make an impact is essential for success in this role.
What we are looking for:
- 4+ years of relevant marketing experience (agency or in-house), preferably in B2B or professional services.
- Proven track record of leading projects from concept to execution.
- Strong digital marketing experience, including email campaigns, social media, web content, and SEO best practices.
- Excellent writing, editing, and storytelling skills across platforms and formats.
- Strong ability to manage multiple projects, stakeholders, and deadlines simultaneously.
- Proficiency in marketing platforms such as Salesforce, HubSpot, Pardot, Google Analytics, and email marketing tools.
- Experience collaborating with graphic designers and copywriters, and providing clear, actionable creative direction.
- A data-driven mindset with the ability to extract insights and apply them to future strategy.
- High attention to detail, organization, and ability to work independently.
- A strong aesthetic eye and understanding of brand consistency.
- This is an in-office role, Monday thru Friday, no remote or hybrid option.
- Professional dress attire is required.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Experience with CRM and marketing automation tools such as Salesforce and HubSpot
- Basic knowledge of HTML/CSS and UX principles
- Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator)
- Experience with CMS platforms (e.g., WordPress)
- Experience in M&A, financial services, or B2B consulting industries
- Comfortable working with debugging tools like Firebug, Chrome inspector, etc.
Required Education
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or related discipline
Salary
As a Senior Marketing Specialist, you will receive an annual salary ranging from $75,000 to $90,000, paid on a bi-weekly basis.
