Security Management Innovation (SMI) is seeking a professional, dependable, and detail-oriented Security Officer to join our team at a senior apartment living community in the Cutler Bay area . This position plays a critical role in maintaining a safe, secure, and welcoming environment for residents, staff, and visitors.

This is an excellent opportunity for individuals who are attentive, customer-service driven, and comfortable working overnight shifts in a residential setting.

Position Details:

• Location: Cutler Bay, FL.
• Shift: Night Shift (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM).
• Schedule: 12-hour shifts.
• Pay Rate: $16.50/hour.

Key Responsibilities:

• Monitor the property through routine patrols and surveillance systems.
• Control access to the building and verify visitors.
• Respond promptly to incidents, emergencies, and resident concerns.
• Maintain accurate daily activity reports and incident logs.
• Provide a visible and reassuring presence for residents.
• Assist residents, staff, and guests with professionalism and courtesy.
• Ensure all safety protocols and post orders are followed.

Qualifications & Requirements:

• Must be computer savvy (comfortable with reports, emails, and basic systems).
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to work independently and remain alert during overnight hours.
• Professional demeanor and appearance.
• Reliable and punctual.
• Valid Florida Security D License (required).

Preferred Experience:

• Prior experience in residential or senior living security.
• Experience with access control systems and report writing.
• Background in customer service or concierge-style roles.
