Summary of Duties:

Perform quality work within deadlines with or without direct supervision. Interact professionally with other team members customers and suppliers. Work effectively as a team contributor on all assignments. Work independently while understanding the necessity for communicating and coordinating work efforts with other team members and organizations. Maintain strict privileged proprietary guest and employer confidentiality during and beyond the term of my employment. Adhere to all work rules policies & procedures and safety standards.

Position Description:

Provide limited culinary support to the Back House.

Knowledge Skills and Abilities:

• Review daily work orders and check pantry for items needed.
• Report any inventory shortages to the Executive Chef.
• Prepare simple food items as directed according to house recipes.
• Prepare items for banquet or restaurant use.
• Rotate items to ensure freshness.
• Assist with deliveries and secure items for transportation.
• Follow all food safety ordinances and regulations.
• Ensure the highest standards of cleanliness safety and guest satisfaction.
• Monitor equipment and report any maintenance concerns as needed.
• Breakdown workstation and restock items for next shift.
• Comply with Title 31 training requirements.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

Education/Qualifications:

• Requires some kitchen prep experience in a high-volume environment.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Requires food handlers permit.

Licensing:

• Must be able to obtain and maintain the required Gaming License.

Work Requirements:

Requires problem solving skills and the ability to communicate effectively. Position involves prolonged walking stooping or bending lifting or carrying up to 50 pounds daily. Work is performed in a casino environment with varying levels of lighting air quality noise and / or temperature.
