Job Summary
The Warehouse Manager will be responsible for overseeing all warehouse operations, ensuring efficiency and safety while supervising a team. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in inventory management, logistics coordination, and fostering a productive work environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage daily warehouse operations, including receiving, storage, and distribution of materials.
- Supervise and train warehouse staff, promoting teamwork and a culture of safety.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies.
- Analyze inventory levels and implement improvements to achieve optimal stock accuracy.
- Coordinate with other departments to streamline logistics and ensure timely delivery.
- Conduct regular audits of warehouse systems and processes for continuous improvement.
- Prepare reports on warehouse performance and provide actionable insights.
Must Haves
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in warehouse management or related field.
- Strong leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to inspire a team.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Proficient in inventory management software and logistics systems.
- Effective communication skills, both orally and in writing.
Nice to Haves
- Experience with Lean or Six Sigma methodologies for process improvement.
- Knowledge of supply chain logistics and best practices.
- Familiarity with OSHA regulations and safety standards.
Day-to-Day Duties
- Oversee the daily receipt, storage, and dispatch of construction materials.
- Monitor stock levels and coordinate regular inventory counts.
- Execute training sessions for new hires regarding warehouse procedures and safety.
- Interact with suppliers and logistics partners for seamless operations.
- Prepare and present updates on warehouse metrics to upper management.
