Retina Specialist (No Surgery) - Hillsborough County, Florida

We are seeking a dedicated, board-certified Retina Specialist (MD or DO) to join an exceptional ophthalmology team in the beautiful Tampa, FL area. With a strong emphasis on excellence, the team is dedicated to providing personalized, high-quality services while encouraging continuous learning and community engagement.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive eye exams to evaluate retinal health and diagnose various retinal conditions.
• Manage and treat a range of retinal disorders, including diabetic retinopathy, retinal detachment, and age-related macular degeneration using medical therapies.
• Collaborate with other healthcare providers to develop and implement individualized patient care plans.
• Work closely with a multidisciplinary team of ophthalmologists, optometrists, and support staff to ensure a comprehensive approach to patient care.
• Participate in case discussions and provide insights on non-surgical management strategies for complex retinal issues.

Patient Care:

• Expect to see 30-40 or more patients per day, depending on practice and support staff availability.
