Operations Managers participate in the planning, preparation and execution of environmental projects. They are responsible for overall on-site project performance from inception to close. They are leaders who will work alongside their Team Members. Operations Managers are the main point of contact for customers, subcontractors, regulatory agencies and Team Members
Job Responsibilities:
- Regularly lead communication meetings with the team
- Develop project scopes and budgets.
- Manage and track project related costs utilizing company generated forms and computer software.
- Communicate project scope and plan to Team Members.
- Occasionally perform manual work requiring periods of extensive physical exertion.
- Work with customers to understand their expectations to ensure a trusted relationship
- Develop and utilize operation plants to meet customer service needs in a safe and efficient manner
- Drive a motor vehicle and operate a powered piece of equipment.
- Assist in the set up and tear down of job site.
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
- 5+ years relative Operations leadership (or combination of education and experience)
- 40-hr HAZWOPER certification preferred, but not required, with current 8-hr refresher
- Ability to manage budgets and forecasts
- Valid DL with reliable transportation required.
- Thie willingness and ability to conduct work in the field on a weekly basis
- The ability to work a flexible schedule including nights and weekends when needed
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Applied Sciences or Construction Management is preferred but not required .
- Knowledge of local, state, and federal requirements
- Be able to meet the work schedule with dependability and consistency.Environmental Manager
Duties:- Develop and implement environmental policies and procedures to ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations- Conduct regular inspections and audits to identify potential environmental risks and develop strategies for mitigation- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate environmental considerations into business operations- Monitor and analyze environmental data, such as air quality, water quality, and waste management metrics- Prepare reports and documentation for regulatory agencies and internal stakeholders- Provide training and guidance to employees on environmental best practices- Stay up-to-date with changes in environmental regulations and industry trends
Requirements:- Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Environmental Engineering, or a related field- Proven experience in environmental management or a similar role- Strong knowledge of local, state, and federal environmental regulations- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills- Effective communication skills, both written and verbal- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment- Attention to detail and strong organizational skills
