Locum NP (Nurse Practitioner), PA (Physician's Assistant) Emergency Medicine

Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough patient assessments in emergency situations
- Develop and implement individualized care plans
- Administer treatments and medications as per protocols
- Collaborate with physicians and nursing staff to ensure comprehensive care
- Perform diagnostic tests and interpret results
- Manage patient flow efficiently in the emergency department
- Educate patients and families regarding health management
- Document all patient interactions and treatment plans accurately
Requirements
- Current NP or PA licensure in the state of Florida
- Associate degree in Nursing or relevant field for NP, or equivalent for PA
- Experience in emergency medicine or critical care preferred
- Strong clinical and decision-making skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work efficiently in high-pressure environments
- Team-oriented with a commitment to patient-centered care
- Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications preferred
Schedule: 6a-6p, 9a-7p, 12a-10p, or 6p-6a
Daily Volume: 1.7 patients per APP per hour, 155 total (including ~30 pediatrics)
Annual Volume: 55K patients
Must be board-certified
