Your Responsibilities in This Role

• Performing thorough patient evaluations, ordering essential diagnostics, and developing customized care plans
• Diagnosing and managing acute, chronic, or episodic health conditions independently or in collaboration with physicians, depending on your certification
• Providing education to patients and their families on health maintenance, prevention, and disease management
• Prescribing necessary medications and therapies, adhering to your scope of practice
• Engaging in patient follow-up care and chronic illness management

• Ensuring detailed documentation within electronic medical records (EMR)

Educational Prerequisites

• Obtain Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) or achieve a Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP)
• Graduated from an accredited Nurse Practitioner program

Necessary Certifications

• Hold active Nurse Practitioner licensure in Florida
• Possess national certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP-C, AANP or ANCC) or its equivalent
• Maintain Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications or be prepared to obtain them within 90 days
