Overview

Our client is seeking a dynamic Sales Manager to lead and grow a high-performing local sales team within their commercial moving and logistics division. This individual will act as the market leader , responsible for driving revenue through team leadership, strategic business development, and local market engagement.

This is an excellent opportunity for a proven sales leader with experience in logistics, transportation, or commercial services who thrives in a hands-on leadership role.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead, coach, and develop a team of 4–6 sales representatives
• Drive team performance to meet and exceed revenue goals
• Actively support the sales cycle by:
  • Opening doors with key prospects
  • Assisting in presentations and closing deals
• Build and maintain strong relationships within the local business community
• Establish a strong market presence through networking and industry involvement
• Partner with internal teams (operations, HR, recruiting) to ensure team success
• Play an active role in recruiting, hiring, and onboarding new sales talent
• Foster a high-performance culture focused on accountability, collaboration, and growth

Qualifications

• 5 years of experience in sales leadership or team management
• Background in one or more of the following:
  • Logistics / transportation (3PL, 4PL, trucking, warehousing)
  • Commercial moving or relocation services
  • Business-to-business (B2B) services
  • Commercial real estate (preferred but not required)
• Proven track record of driving team revenue performance
• Strong leadership, coaching, and team-building skills
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, growth-oriented environment
• Excellent communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills
