Overview

This role supports the accounting function by assisting with financial reporting, transaction processing, and analysis that helps leadership make informed business decisions.

Position Summary

The Senior Accountant is a key contributor to the accounting team, responsible for general ledger activities, month-end close support, reconciliations, and financial reporting. This position works closely with internal stakeholders and supports ongoing business operations, including acquisition integration and ad hoc analysis.

Key Responsibilities

• Participate in the month-end close process to ensure timely and accurate financial results
• Review and reconcile general ledger accounts
• Prepare and post journal entries
• Prepare financial and management reports
• Perform monthly and quarterly account reconciliations
• Support weekly accounts payable processes
• Assist with accounting integration for new acquisitions
• Complete ad hoc requests and special projects as assigned
• Analyze and explain cost account variances

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
• 3+ years of related accounting experience
• ERP system experience preferred (NetSuite a plus)
• Strong ability to prioritize, multitask, and meet deadlines
• Public accounting experience preferred
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
• Self-starter with a process-driven work style
• Proficiency in Microsoft 365 applications, especially Excel

$70,000 - $85,000 a year
