Imagine walking the floor of a Cytiva value stream at dusk. Safety checks are complete. The team is gathered. The whiteboard shows bold targets for Safety, Quality, Delivery, Inventory, and Productivity/Cost. You pose a question: Whats the biggest barrier to flow tonight? With your coaching, the team uses DBS problem-solving to attack the bottleneckand by sunrise, patients are one step closer to the therapies they need.

The challenge

• Lead daily production for a defined area, holding the line on KPI commitments while elevating quality and compliance.
• Build a culture where safety is the norm, accountability is expected, and continuous improvement is everyones job.
• Manage staffing and schedules, grow skills through training, and deliver actionable performance feedback.
• Apply Danaher Business System tools (5S, Daily Management, Problem-Solving Process) to drive stability and speed.
• Collaborate with Quality, Maintenance, Engineering, and Supply Chain to resolve issues and harden processes.
• Guard our quality management system and sustain audit readiness.

Role details

• Company: Cytiva, a Danaher operating company
• Location: Pensacola, FL (on-site)
• Schedule: Pitman schedule; approximately 5:45 PM6:15 AM; alternating weekly workdays with weekends
• Reports to: Sr. Value Stream Manager

What youll need to succeed

• 2+ years of manufacturing or operations experience; prior leadership/team lead exposure preferred.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a coaching mindset.
• Agility in fast-moving environments and a passion for continuous improvement.
• Knowledge of lean principles and structured problem-solving approaches.

Travel & physical demands

• Travel up to 10% to other Cytiva manufacturing locations in the US and worldwide.
• Reach gauges/equipment 56 feet off the ground; lift and move up to 50 lb.
• Wear required PPE such as a respirator, air hood, and hearing protection.
