About the Position

TravelNurseSource is working with job.com to find a qualified Labor/Delivery RN in Fort Myers, Florida, 33908!

• Deliver direct patient care to laboring, antepartum, and postpartum mothers and newborns.
• Monitor and interpret fetal and maternal assessments using AWHONN standards.
• Support labor induction, augmentation, and delivery procedures (vaginal and operative).
• Administer medications and manage IV and epidural therapies per policy.
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to plan and implement individualized care plans.
• Respond effectively to obstetric emergencies and participate in neonatal resuscitations.
• Accurately document all patient care in Epic EMR.
• Participate in unit on-call rotation (12 hours per 6-week period).
• Float to other maternal-child units or sister campuses as required.
• Contribute positively to unit culture and teamwork; function as core staff.

Requirements

• Experience: Minimum 2+ years of recent Labor & Delivery RN experience required
• Travel Experience: Prior travel nursing experience required
• BLS – Basic Life Support
• ACLS – Advanced Cardiac Life Support
• NRP – Neonatal Resuscitation Program
• AWHONN Intermediate Fetal Monitoring (completed and passed)
• AWHONN Advanced Fetal Monitoring
• EFM (Electronic Fetal Monitoring) Certification
• Degree from an accredited nursing program (must be documented on profile)
