Role Overview
West Knox Group is seeking a highly organized and proactive Property Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations of commercial and retail properties within our portfolio. This role requires someone who can manage tenants, coordinate maintenance and vendors, oversee leasing activity, maintain property standards, and ensure smooth operations across multiple assets.
The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, responsive, capable of handling fast-moving situations, and comfortable balancing operational responsibilities with tenant-facing communication. This is a hands-on leadership role for someone who thrives in an entrepreneurial environment and takes ownership of the properties they manage.
Responsibilities
- Oversee daily operations of commercial and retail properties
- Serve as the primary point of contact for tenants and vendors
- Coordinate maintenance requests, repairs, inspections, and property improvements
- Manage vendor relationships, scheduling, and contractor oversight
- Assist with leasing activity, renewals, tenant onboarding, and occupancy management
- Conduct regular property walkthroughs to ensure cleanliness, functionality, and presentation standards
- Monitor operational expenses and assist with budgeting and cost control
- Ensure properties remain compliant with local codes, safety standards, and operational requirements
- Handle tenant concerns and resolve issues professionally and efficiently
- Track property performance, maintenance schedules, and operational reporting
- Support ownership with property optimization initiatives and long-term operational planning
- Assist with emergency response coordination when necessary - including weekends
- Weekend site visits to assess needs of properties
Qualifications
- Previous experience in commercial property management, retail property operations, or real estate management preferred
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
- Ability to manage vendors, contractors, and tenant relationships effectively
- Experience coordinating maintenance, repairs, and operational projects
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, hands-on environment
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, and property management systems is a plus
- Ability to work independently while maintaining strong communication with leadership
- Reliable transportation and ability to travel between properties as needed
- Knowledge of leasing, commercial property operations, or construction coordination is advantageous

Hourly Rate
$50,000/yr salary + bonuses.
Typical earnings expectations: $90,000 - $120,000/yr
Commission (Per Lease Signed)
- $500 per 1yr+ lease
Commission Tiers for less than 12 months lease
- 0-3 months: $150
- 4-7 months: $250
- 7-11 months: $350
No extension or renewal commission for short-term leases 0-11 months
$250 commission for lease renewal for 12 months
