Publix Technology Training and Development Manager

Join Publix Technology as the Training and Development Manager responsible for overseeing the education, training, and skills enhancements of the 2,100+ Publix Technology associates that are across 8 states with a mix of remote and hybrid associates spanning more than 200+ teams by: - Developing and managing the educational curriculum for 70+ positions/roles in Publix Technology
- Developing and managing the Manager Curriculum for over 200+ managers in Publix Technology
- Designing and developing Publix Technology specific training and determining learning objectives, delivery mechanisms and courseware including presentations, student guides, computer-based training modules, instructor manuals, and job training aids for extremely diverse technical skillsets
- Selecting and managing the ongoing use of online platforms used to train Publix Technology associates. Examples include Udemy, Cloud Academy, etc.
- Selecting and managing the process used to procure outside agencies needed for specific external training on very specific skillsets. This includes negotiation of fees and contracts necessary to provide external training to Publix Technology associates
- Coordinating and delivering all training programs for 2,100+ Publix Technology associates (i.e. new hire orientation/onboarding training for 400+ associates each year, Publix specific technical training, etc.)
- Developing and managing a Publix Technology Mentorship Program that will assist 200+ managers to mentor new hires, successfully onboard associates moving into new roles, and to assist with career coaching for 2,100+ associates
- Developing and managing the Publix Technology Certification Program to provide our top technologists the opportunity to acquire certifications that will assist them in their current positions and help them as they continue to grow skills necessary to further advance in Publix Technology
Ultimately this manager will help bridge skills gaps in Publix Technology and will significantly impact the ability to retain associates who are passionate about our mission and will successfully contribute to our company's growth. Required Qualifications: - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Human Resources, Business Management, a related discipline, or equivalent experience
- 7+ years of learning and development management level experience in a large enterprise organization preferably in a large technology setting
- 5+ years of experience working in training delivery preferably in a large technology setting
- 5+ years in training design and curriculum development preferably for a technology company
- Results-driven, highly organized, and detail-oriented approach to work with a commitment to excellence
