Aerospace Cost Analyst

: JOB TITLE : Aerospace Cost Analyst LOCATION : Miami - Doral, FL TYPE : Full Time SCHEDULE : Monday to Friday, from 8AM to 5PM CONTRACT TYPE : PERMANENT SALARY : $55K to 60K/year DESCRIPTION/SUMMARY: Join us in the Aircraft industry as a Cost Analyst which is critical to ensure that the company is producing the best value from its inventory. Optimizing revenue and pricing models for the company's inventory is a key role within the Purchasing Department and data gathered by the Pricing Analyst is essential for its function. This position will report directly to the Pricing Manager. RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES:

• Daily pricing activity, including conducting market and price research related to inquiries from the Sales Department and coordination of pricing requests/RFPs.
• Conducting thorough analysis of research, demand and market trends to set prices for new inventory.
• Reviewing and adjusting pricing for aging/slow moving inventory.
• Effectively and efficiently use established procedures, tools, equipment, and technologies to complete inquiries related to pricing and management of inventory.
• You will also actively participate in process improvements by utilizing the company's quality system.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS/EXPERIENCE:

• Has experience analyzing sales and pricing of assets or commodities.
• Familiarity with aviation industry, aircraft knowledge and analyzing technical documents.
• Familiar with the process of sourcing aircraft parts to fulfill customer requirements.
• Has extensive spreadsheet and database skills.
• Is self-directed, can maintain full or part-time hourly schedule and can work in a team environment.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office, particularly Advanced Excel is required.
• Experience with data entry and data reporting in a complex environment is preferred.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Experience and Skills using logic to solve problems and arrive at solutions.
• Knowledge of Inventory Locator Service (ILS) and other industry supply resources, a big plus..

EDUCATION:

• High School Diploma
• In-progress college education - preferred
