Compensation: $45,000 - $55,000 Base Salary; Up to $5,000 Supplemental Pay

Job Description
The Teacher is the instructional leader of their classroom, responsible for ensuring strong student achievement, effective teaching practices, and a safe, positive, and engaging learning environment. Reporting to the principal or campus administrator, the Teacher is responsible for delivering high-quality, standards-aligned instruction, supporting diverse student needs, maintaining classroom culture, and engaging families as partners in learning.
The Teacher implements the curriculum with fidelity, creates structured and joyful learning environments, and uses data to inform instruction and interventions. This role requires a reflective and committed educator who holds high expectations for all students, builds strong relationships, responds to feedback, and contributes to a school culture where every student is known, supported, and successful.
Key Activities
Instruction
- Plan and deliver daily standards-aligned lessons
- Implement curriculum, assessments, and instructional frameworks as designed
- Use formative and summative assessments tomonitorlearning
- Provide targeted small-group and individual instruction
Classroom Culture
- Establish andmaintainconsistent classroom routines
- Implement schoolwide behavior systems with fidelity
- Ensure a safe, inclusive, and respectful classroom environment
Student Support
- Support diverse learners including ESE, 504, ELL and intervention students
- Implement accommodations and modifications asrequired
- Communicate student progress and concerns with families
Professional Responsibilities
- Attend and activelyparticipatein meetings, PD, and coaching sessions
- Submit lesson plans, data, and compliance documentation on time
- Uphold all school policies,proceduresand professional expectations

Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or higher from an accredited institution
- Valid or eligible Florida teaching certification(seetablebelow)

Background Screening Requirement
This position requires successful completion of a Level 2 background screening through the Florida Care Provider Background Screening Clearinghouse, in accordance with House Bill 531 (2025).
