The Bay Pines VA Healthcare System is seeking an experienced and dynamic Chief of Plastic Surgery to lead and grow a multi-site surgical program serving our nation‘s Veterans. This leadership role combines clinical excellence, academic engagement, and strategic oversight in a collaborative VA environment. Located on Florida‘s Gulf Coast, this opportunity also offers the financial advantage of no state income tax, enhancing your overall compensation.

Position Highlights

• Leadership role with administrative, clinical, and programmatic oversight

Key Responsibilities

• Lead all aspects of plastic surgery services including clinical care, education, research, and operations

• Supervise plastic surgeons, residents (plastic & general surgery), medical students, nursing staff, and PAs

• Participate in strategic planning, program development, and performance improvement

• Maintain a high-quality surgical practice

• Provide intermittent night and weekend call coverage

• Conduct periodic visits to affiliated Lee County facility
